Minor Frost Damage

I thought I would share for academic purposes some minor frost damage from earlier this month on a Celadine and a Rainbow. I happened to be unavailable to properly protect these two plants. I think one tip has some damage as well. They became too big to make it through the backyard gate (much less into the greenhouse). I have them in my garage at the expense of my truck for right now.

Here is my still blooming DSP temporarily hiding out in the garage on a chilly night.

Hi K,

Sorry to see the damage on your Plumies...

Hopefully they wont have any tip damage. They dont really look like they had much damage, ill keep my fingers crossed for you!!!

The DSP looks happy in the garage.. I had to do a double take...almost looks like the exact double in your garage with the two dark cars and the two leaves with two blooms on the floor!!! Are you sure you dont have a mirror there? lol!!!!

Hope you and your family have a wonderful New Year!!!

Take care,

Laura

That is a really nice DSP. I like how it has a miniature, yet upright growth tendency vs. the heavy horizontal growth that seems common with many of the small cultivars.
