Mouse pruned plumeria

Perylene

I stored most of my plumerias in the garage for winter, and apparently a mouse has chewed the tips off of my Scott Pratt. We put some traps out, but instead it chewed the same plumeria even further. I've never pruned a plumeria before-- should I leave it as is and see what happens, or should I make some clean cuts while it's dormant?

I'm moving all of them in today. Another plumeria has some minor chewing while the rest were untouched; apparently Scott Pratt is delicious.
