After the Blizzard

Well, it was a long, cold day yesterday. I sat inside and knitted (my other passion) in front of a toasty fire. Much of the day the snow was blowing sideways and you could not see outside. Today the sun and blue skies are back and everything looks so pretty. I thought I would share a quick pic of my potager after the blizzard.

A beautiful scene! Thanks for sharing.

Does the arbor lead into the garden or is there space between the two? Is there a gate in that area?

Hi Harper,
The arbor is free standing, probably about 3 feet in front of the gate.

I was wondering about all you northeasterners........sounds like you got a really big snow storm. The picture is just beautiful and it sounds like a perfect day for you to knit. We could use some of that moisture down here.

It even looks lovely in the snow... you have one of the most wonderful potagers. :)

That is truly beautiful. And so tranquil. The dining area looks inviting with it's frosty tablecolth. I'm afraid I would have to take my juice and muffin out there despite the cold.

We had snow the last two days, too. I just love the way it transforms the landscape. And the smell of the earth and plants is heavenly, isn't it? I went for a hike up to the top of our property and could hardly make myself come back inside.

Every season brings beauty. Enjoy your winter wonderland and your knitting!

Diana
