Pictures of my potager (last Summer)

Here are some pictures of my potager taken last Summer.
I have incorporated some perennials flowers with my herbs. On one picture you can see black eyed susan with marjoram in bloom. I have a beautiful grapevine growing on my garden shed and this year hopefully will be building a structure for the vine and it should be quite nice just beside the potager.

| beautiful potager, anicee! question? since you are in zone 5, what type of grape are you growing? I am sure the northern growers would be interested in knowing. |

| Wow, those are beautiful, anicee-what do you have planned for this year? Last year, the plant that surprised me was vietnamese cilantro, it grew to be a 3' shrub & only gave in after a severe frost-it looked great next to a rose bush-Crown Princess Margarete. I also had good luck w/ agastache, rue, & salvia, until frost. |

| Thank you! The grape is called VALIANT and is doing extremely well here in zone 5a. It gives big juicy dark blue grapes. This year will have my tomato plants as usual...lots of herbs again. I have some perennial herbs but also cultivate every year annual herbs such as coriander and basil. Will also have some zucchini, lettuce and spaghetti squash I think. Anicée |
