We were in a moderate drought (9 inch rain deficit) until a week ago. Since then it's rained 4 times and my rain gauge has recorded 8 inches. I'm hoping that's it for awhile.

I hope you get a break soon! I'm still waiting to see pics of that new garden, lol.

I'm hoping that the garden will be "done" enough to take pictures soon. I hate trying to explain what plants are supposed to be in all the holes :)

As for my fence, still don't know what I'm going to do. I'm thinking about wire (although I love your fence) but with the ever increasing size of my garden, I need to go very low budget. Otherwise, I won't have any money left for plants...I think I may have overspent a bit on the roses, but no regrets. I've thought of using lilacs for a hedge (since I have so many) but I don't know how hard they would be to keep out of the rest of the garden. (LOL)
