Great potager site

Hi everyone - I just wanted to share the link for a great potager site that I visit periodically: http://www.frenchgardening.com/aupotager.html

The current article is about Belgian Endive, but if you look to the left, you'll see dozens of other archived articles which are all very useful.

So how's your potager doing? The big problem on my end is lack of space. The potager is about 40x40, but that's not nearly big enough! Basically, I had all the beds filled by the first week of June and I've been hunting for holes and spaces to cram stuff in ever since. Later this fall we plan on expanding the potager out onto the front lawn, totally re-working the fencing/edging etc. It will be a lot of work, but should give us about 40% more space, so we're gonna go for it. Rule #1 of gardening: The garden is NEVER big enough! :-)

RE: Great potager site

Diggity,

I have seen that site before. It's a good one.

I have no potager this year...we moved to NY and haven't had time to build the new one. I am planning to build it in the fall so that it will be ready in spring. It won't be as big as my last one as I am working part time now. I do miss it. I have incorporated some veggies in a perenial bed so that I will get some fresh produce this year. I know what you mean about space. My former potager was the size of yours and like you, I was always looking for places to cram in something new.
Can't wait to see you new potager extension.
