Just picked up the new issue of Domino magazine and thought ya'll might be interested in this gorgeous veggie and cutting flower garden. There's a gallery of photos on the website. I bet it takes a small army of serfs to keep it looking like this, but one can dream...

Here is a link that might be useful: domino magazine online

Nice!

I expected to learn that his garden is in Provence or somewhere like that. But Connecticut?! I wonder if he tends it himself or leaves the whole thing to hired help?

What a wonderful, visual treat! I don't think I could be that "ordered" in my plantings but it's nice to see in someone else's space. And he does have lots of space, so it seems. Loved that lavender - wonder which one it is.

Diggity, my guess is he has help and lots of it. lol!

I checked my magazine, angelcub, and it didn't say what kind of lavender it is. My favorite is the espaliered apple tree arches... His garden is a really a small farm--who eats all that lettuce :)

Where are you clicking to see all those pictures? I was able to see the one of the apple trees in the place called Sneak Preview. Where are you clicking to see the rest of them? Thanks. Carmellia

Gorgeous. If someone is in a Smith and Hawken store anytime soon, pick up the huge coffee table book called something like "the world's most beautiful gardens" and look at the spread on Villandry. Talk about more greens than anyone would eat at one time! But absolutely stunning.

I don't know if he has hired help, but he definitely is a gardener. On my 'My Page' I have a quote from him from a few years back that I put on my fridge, because I feel the same way. I remembered being surprised Oscar de la Renta said it, but only a true gardener would of spoken these words,
"A garden is a lifetime. The only way I will ever be finished is when I’m dead."
