The potager looks lovely with a layer of snow on it.
The raised bed potager is about 10 years old. The short hedges are boxwood, started myself from 3" cuttings. There are boxwood balls and varigated euonymous balls also grown and pruned by myself to this size. There are two peony trees and permanent plantings of strawberries and rubarb. I fill the beds with tomatoes, peppers, bush zuchini and other veggies.
The raised beds are separated by walkways of patio stones which makes it much tidier for shovelling snow to get to the greenhouse in the winter and during wet weather.
