what kind of seed will I get?

If i have echinacea pallida, simulata, purpurea, paradoxa, and angustifolia in the same planting can they cross pollinate and the genes get mixed up?
What are the issues that I should be aware of with the seed produced in this scenario?

I guess you'll find out who's dominant....
You'll end up with a varied assortment (over the short term), then probably a single type in the long run...though what that will be, I can't tell you. However, you're unlikely to have anything left pure but pallida (because of the earlier blooming time(at least from my experience)).

Well, don't worry about the purpurea and paradoxa crossing...
