Wildflower seeds pre-treated?

I read that wildflower seeds must go through a period of cold in order to germinate. We are unable to plant until early May. Do any seed companies sell wildflower seed that they have already pre-treated by subjecting the seeds to cold?

Some do, or a bedding-plant company might have some treated seed that they didn't use. Your best bet is to talk to your local Native Plant Society chapter-- someone there might have seed, or can tell you which company in your area would be likeliest to help. You'll need seed specifically for your region (Utah?).

Most of your reputable Native Plant Nurseries, are already selling seed that has been cold stratified.

Prairie Nursery, Prairie Moon, Ion Exchange.
