Has anyone been successful in propagating puccoons (lithospermum croceum)? I've had limited success with separating shoots in the early spring but would like to produce it in quanities.

I have had limited success even tranplanting it... I don't have the right soil for it. So I have no experience propogating it...

seems that puccoons normally grow on sandy hillsides in our part of the world, usually full sun southern facing.
i think its ants doing most of the work. or some other form of disturbance, like an eroding hillside. ive been able to move them but they never seem to persist except in above mentioned places.

they seem to be a shorter lived perennial and need to re-seed themselves readily so something is happenin, just cuz we cant figure it out :)
