This definitely is Garlic Mustard, and I wouldn't trust Garlic Mustard to stay put. I would kill it immediately - pull any plants with flowers before seed is set and repeat annually until no more appears. If you leave it in place, eventually seed will find its way to other parts of your yard where it will spread faster, and then you'll have real mess to take care of. If it has stayed in one location for years, I think you have been lucky, but your luck might run out at any time.

Shade does not hold it back. Sun does not hold it back. Wetness does not hold it back. Animals do not hold it back. It's a very tough little invader.

Here is Michigan many volunteers spent many backbreaking hours pulling, I kid you not, 128,000 pounds of garlic mustard from natural areas where it was smothering native wildflowers, starving salamanders, and creating all sorts of ecological havoc. The seeds are tiny, get on boots or highway mowers, and spread to forests. Please, please kill (pull it up) and do not let it go to seed.
