Can I get an ID please?

As far as I can tell I have 3 of these. They started growign last year but stayed on the small side. This year much bigger (taller/wider) but still without bloom. I wondering if its something a Coreopsis sp.? It is un-branching and all stems arise from below the soil.
Thanks as always :)

Looks like Ratibida Pinnata, gray-headed coneflower, to me. It should be blooming by now if its in its second season unless it got a late start last year. I've got several of these in my native plantings that are in their second year. They are on the downhill side of their bloom for me. A nice plant and I had darn near 100% germination for these that I dormant seeded.

Oh thank you! I forgot about these...it pays to keep record eh? And no I didn't see them showing up until late summer last year.

Thanks again,
Vera
