| Greenstar - your page says yo're located in SK, same as me. Do you really find them common across SK? I've only seen them growing in the west block of the Cypress Hills. Excuse me if I've read your post wrong, but perhaps consider this before removing this plant from the wild, it's listed provincially as status S2 (rare) by the SK Conservation Data Centre (S1 very rare -> S5 common). Here's a further definition of S2: Imperiled; may be susceptible to extirpation because of some factor of its biology If anyone in Sask wants the plant, it's easy from seed, and you can buy them mail order from ALCLA in Alberta. |
