Simple Planting

| I would like to plant just a few (4-5) types of wildflowers as a seed a new area. I would like them to grow to at least 24" tall (preferably 36"). I was thinking of:
Purple Coneflower
White Coneflower
Shasta Daisies (maybe even Leucanthemum 'Becky')
Brown/Black Eyed Susans
Any suggestions on what to add or remove? |

| How 'bout some Rudbeckia "prairie sun"? Got seeds if you want em. Some campanulas would look nice in there, too. But they have a tendency to spread, so be careful! Gosh, I can think of tons of things...what do you have? Sun, shade, moist, dry? April |

| Thanks for the offer. I have 30 acres. Currently it is farmland but I am turning into 1/2 forest and 1/2 meadow. Part is high and dry, part is low and moist. I guess a little of everything. I really want plants that grow between 2-3 feet - similar to the Prarie Sun. I see they are annuals...would they reseed every year in a natural setting. I would take whatever you care to offer. Thanks! |
