Prairie seed planting?

| When is the best time to harvest seeds off my seeded out grass and then when is the best time to plant them? I have one section that has allot more grass then other areas. Thanks for any info. |

| In general, you grasp the seed stalk and pull the seeds. When the seeds come off with very little or no resistance, they are mature. I would seed just before the snow flies if possible. |
