Prairies, meadows and septic systems

The land in front of our house is a septic system covered with 3-6 inches of loam. We are thinking of sowing a praire or meadow on this, but are concerned that the deep roots of some plants might enter the septic system pipes or otherwise affect the sand and gravel of the septic system. Does anyone have any thoughts about this?

www.prairienursery.com - sells a septic field mix of native grass and wildflowers - they are good for septic systems and i think their mix stays away from deep tap rooted plants and consists mainly of deep fibrous rooted plants - which are better for the septic field ...

There is some information on this link about a septic prairie mix with a septic system.
