i feel bad that this question is moving down with no answer? i think perhaps this question is kind of vague. when i think of a field of sunflowers - i think of an agricultural field planted for sunflower oil or for bird hunting purposes. is that what you are asking about? otherwise a field of just sunflowers isnt really something that would be considered wild, natural, meadow or prairie...

I do mean a field of "grown" sun flowers or wild either would be fine.... I have a young lady friend that absolutly loves sun flowers and I know she would just be thrilled to see an entire field of them. Thanks!

its too late for this year as most will have gone to seed by now - i would suggest you contact your local NRCS office they generally have a feel for which farmer is planting what crop on various fields. some crp land is planted in sunflowers for a feed lot and hunting...
