Question on planting wild lavender?

I'm not sure I'm in the right forum, but if not run me off and I'll try somewhere else. Last spring I found a patch of small purple flowers in an old farm stead. It looked like and had a smell like lavender. I'm guessing it's wild lavender, but not sure. I collected a small hand full of seeds and need to know the when, where, and how of getting the stuff to grow. Any ideas will be appreciated.

| im not sure exactly the plant that you are refering to. maybe a picture or something more than what you have discribed would be more helpful. froggy |
