| I am a newbe to the prairie restoration game. This summer I was very frustrated by the lack of information on what prairie plant seedlings of the various species look like. I was looking for pictures!! All of my searches on the web would yeild pictures of mature flowering plants, not the 1 inch seedling I was looking for. I found myself out with the digital camera once a week taking pictures to try and get an ID (I work with some very knowledgable plant people). Does anybody have any usefull links? I finally found one from Missouri that I have included at the bottom. |
Here is a link that might be useful: Prairie plant seedling pictures

| Thanks for the link. Previously, the only good site I found is from the UK, and obviously misses some of our native prairie species. Thanks again. |
