Alpine & Rock Garden Plants

Can anyone recommend a good supplier for alpine/rock garden type plants? I've been buying from a fairly well known grower who puts out a great catalog with a huge selection, but when it comes down to the plants actually being available...it is hit or miss, at best. Frustrating.

There are very few commercial growers of alpine plants. There is one excellent supplier in Canada that also has a US location in Washington State. They are a retailer but their pricing is very good and you might be able to negociate with them. The company is called Beaver Creek Greenhouses. They do not publish their online catalogue until mid February when they in fact do have the plants.

Thanks, Mary. Anything other than the standard alpines are hard to come by. I will check your suggestion!
