Hi all,

Can anyone recommend any companies that are "newbie" friendly? I occasionally come across places in my online searches that state they are happy to hire and train new graduates. If all goes as planned I will graduate in May and am hoping to get a job in a botanical garden or commercial greenhouse or some other setting which involves hands on work with plants (and does not completely close down in the winter). I'm one of those who switched careers, so although I will have a master's in Agriculture/Plant & Soil Science, my previous education was in a completely different field. So I am hoping to find a job where I can work along with more experienced people who will help to further train me.

I have relatives in TN, AL, and GA so I will be looking to move that direction. However, I am open to other states/areas if I do not get a position near them.
