| I run a gardening business with about 45 clients and I end up sending a lot of soil samples to the lab for analysis. I was thinking that it would make a lot more sense to do the testing myself. Does anyone have any recommendations for professional soil test kits? I need to do pH, N, P, K, Ca, Mg, Fe. Thanks! |

| There aren't any reliable soil tests for N. Just so you know. Anyway, check out these professional quality kits from Lamotte. I've used the Turf Lab Field kit and found it useful. The other professional kits are detailed under the Agricultural section (model AST, STH in particular). One thing about these kits is that you have to be serious about taking tests. The chemical reagents do not have an indefinite shelf life. |
