| Hi all,
My one gardening client has asked me to research finding him tamarack trees for his Lancaster, PA farm. The background is all in this linked thread (and the linked thread within). The long and short of it is that I'm trying to find trucking companies that can bring trees from Minnesota to PA. Is the yellow pages an OK way to go? I'm hesitant to just go with listed trucking companies to transport living, heavy & delicate trees. I want to get at least three estimates. What do you think? Thanks, CarrieB |

| I'd ask the supplier of the trees about it. |

| Thanks, Ron. That's logical, and I did. They said "sorry, we only ship locally". I asked them if they had any ideas. "Nope, but if you hire someone, that's fine with us". So, what would your plan B be? |

| Funny they had no suggestions. How unhelpful! Do you have to buy from them, or might there be a closer alternative? |
|
| Have you tried 'plantsearchonline'- it's a national database of growers- you might find something closer. I think you have to subscribe, though. Talk to the local UPS folks, and check with local nurseries to see who they use or are familiar with. Susan K |

| Carrie-- Did you call the Pennsylvania Horticultural Society and ask where you might find them closer? Also try the PNLA, the Pennsylvania Nursery and Landscape Association... |
