| After volunteering maintenance and advice at our library for a number of years, the board now wants to hire me for larger projects, including shrub renovation, bed design and installation, and continuing maintenance.
I would love to do this, but I don't have an inkling as to how to charge or detail the terms of a contract. I have 20yrs experience and lots of self-education in horticulture, so I'm certainly worth more than minimum wage labor, but I don't want to over-charge either.
