Last year, you all were a big help getting me my first gardening (maintenance, planting, etc. for urban, residential garden space) gig. Now, I've taken on a second and I think/hope, I'm on the verge of taking on a couple more.

I've been sending prospective clients monthly breakdowns of labor & supplies estimates, with an hourly rate, and then monthly invoices with same. I'd love to see how other people doing this type of work give estimates and how they invoice their work. If you have thoughts you could give me, or sample proposals(estimates) and/or invoices, I'd be truly grateful.

Also, if you have any particular formula you use for estimating labor time needed (by square foot, roses that need pruning, etc) that would be an enormous help.
