I need help, In order to get into the school of my choice I need horticultural experience, that is to work under the guidence and supervision of a horticulturist or botanist.I tryed the brookyn botanic garden but the deadline for applications has passed.I dont know were else I could find horticultural work in new york, but since spring is just around the corner I think right now is probly the best time to apply. If anyone knows where I could get this experience, I would be very grateful.

The School of Horticulture & Agribusiness is the best option available for a someone interested in learning horticulture. Their training strategy allows students to earn money while they learn and combines supervised, structured, on-the-job training with theoretical related instruction. The program is designed for the student requiring a core training in ornamental horticulture. Emphasis is placed on greenhouse management, nursery production, grounds maintenance and landscape planning. Students receive both, an accredited post-secondary diploma and completion of their apprenticeship in-school training.
