Our nursery is trying a batch of New Guinea impatiens liners for the first time. We've had good success with double impatiens, but NG's are new to us. Any tips. We have pretty high pH water here.
New Guinea grow very differently from double impatiens. They need more night heat and are very sensitive to salts in the growing media. Go half or less on fertilizer, keep soil on the dry side, and watch out for thrips they will stunt and deform the plants before you know it... Bob.
