Yardwaste Shredding Service

Hello Fellow Gardeners:
I have a small gardening business (just me and one PT assistant) in which I do a lot of spring and fall clean-ups of urban and small suburban properties. I've been thinking how great it would be to offer an on-site leaf- and yard-waste shredding service instead of bagging or hauling the leaves offsite and then hauling in mulch for the "cleaned" garden beds, etc. Leaf mulch from one's own trees seems the best sort of mulch. However, I've found that commercial-grade shredders cost at least $5K. I don't see a way of making such a service profitable. Any thoughts? Thanks!
