will a lawn of strawberry clover legume invade neighbor's lawn?

In my 80x70 yard, i want to completely remove my lawn/grass and plant strawberry clover; this is because i have a large garden pond and dont want to mow the lawn because of all of the frogs and toads.

If i plant clover [a variety which will never grow higher then say 7"], will it spread over to my neighbors lawn. Will it prevent the spread if i make a 16" wide barior separating both of our lawns using a single layer of fieldstone and gravel, so id doesnt spread by rhizome?

Plant your pond and just stop mowing your lawn, your toads will love ya!
Your neighbors might not love it, sounds cool to me though!
