| What is the best medium for growing out rooted rose cuttings? I root them under mist then tranfer them to 5"x3" bands. I need a good mix that retains moisture, but isn't boggy around the young roots. |

| I remember in class we used Pro-Mix. For the plants that suffered from damping off diseases more often, or just preferred a more well-drained medium, we cut the Pro-Mix with perlite. Worked out quite well and I know a few growers who do that. |
