i am not sure where to ask this, but i am trying to learn the proper name to google info about how to take an existing deck, 15' above grade, and redo it to have the thin set, light weight, concrete mixture imprint, or textured waterproof surface. we are diy'ers and i have yet to learn the right lingo to get any info as to how to go about this. any input would be appreciated. i want to remove the deck boards, change the substructure to accommodate this and make a thin stone looking patio on our deck. i also have read you can have additives to keep surface cool, what am i looking for??? thanks for any help!
