Is there a device to measure # gallons of water usage?

Posted by Ellen_inMo 6 (My Page) on

I need to take some steps in finding out the cost of growing my plants. I currently use water from my home and the entire bill is paid out of our home account. I need to find a way to keep track of how much water is coming out of the two faucets that I use for growing my plants-one coming out of my grow room and the other outside. Is there a device you can attach to a waterhose/spicot that will measure this?

I appreciate your suggestions.

This site looks promising ..

Flow meters

If it's automated irrigation the run times can be easily be converted to total flow ?

Good Day ...

These people make a flow meter. Looks like this one is used for utilities, but maybe they have a home unit or could direct you to someone who does.
