Error messages when opening posts

| I keep on getting the error message "Internet Explorer cannot open the internet site (gives the posts address). Operation aborted" when opening individual posts/threads in the forums. Is this my comp giving trouble or are other users also experiencing this new phenomenon? |

| That did happen to me for about 2 days and I did all kinds of computer maintenance to try to make it stop. I went to the Suggestions Forum? and saw that it was happening to other folks too. It is most likely the new owner upgrading and improving the main server they use and should stop in a bit. ilima |

| Ditto. I have also not been able to use the search function or look at any member pages. Since the upgrades, trying to do either one always returns an error message. |

Hi
This was happening to me too. At the suggestion of a friend, I downloaded Mozilla Firefox (a free internet navigation program.) All problems have since stopped.
In addition, I get far fewer advertisements, no pop-ups, and download time is significantly shorter.

| Happens here a lot I think it has something to do with my dial up connection and the flash media ads on the header of this site. Hope they get it fixed soon. |

| Driving me nuts. Starting to avoid Garden web because of it. The conversation page on the tomato forum takes about 5 hits to finally get through. |

| Yes, happening to me. Also the forum seems to be running much slower than normal - I even sent in my membership money hoping to speed things up but it didn't make a difference. |
