Hedge Trimmer on a pole

| I have a co-worker that has a 75 ft long photinia hedge to trim. Problem is the hedge is up a slight incline and the ground is to uneven to use a ladder. A hedge trimmer on an adjustable pole would be ideal. Is there such a thing?

| There is .. but the higher you go the more of a workout it is ... I use a chain saw on a pole on occasion but what you are talking about sounds like a lot of work ! Link to Pole Hedger Good Day ... |

JB, All the commercial lawncare equipment manufactures make hedge shears on poles. Some are fixed, and the others extendable. Redmax, Echo and Stihl are the best known and widely used depending on dealer availability and support. They are all equally of good quality and personal preferance is usually the guide. You can check all their websites for specific features to purchase, or a good rental yard should have them available. Kirk |
