mum growers: what pot or pan do you use?

We have been using the standard blow molded 8" mum pan for several years and ordered next years pots from ITML because of a good deal on a large order for pots, trays etc. Our mums usually root down through the center hole in the pot with a tap root that can get fairly big. I don't mind as this seems to hold the pot in place during winds. These mums are grown on earth mat. The new ITML pot has smaller drainage holes around the outside edge of the bottom of the pot and no center hole. Has anyone grown in this type of pot and how well was the rooting.

For single mums, we have used NSI Classic 550's with great success. They now have them in a terra cotta color for more attractive selling displays and for those that don't bother to plant them. When going for the big guys, NSI Classic 1200, #3 size, with 3 plants makes immediate impact.

We used the ITML AZM0900 Mum pot this year with good results.
It has enough soil volume (4.7 litres according to their brochure) to support the Belgian Mums we grew. We had them on drip irrrigation on black landscape cloth. There was enough root that came through the holes on the circunference to keep the pots from blowing over in the wind. We plabn to use them again. Previously we used blow molded nursery containers. (Classic 0600, I think)
