Our garden club has interest in taking an alley way to make a useable space that is visually attractive. Currently the alley is just a blank canvas ...fairly wide.
Thinking tables/chairs, plants, maybe a mural, fountain, plants....
Has anyone worked on a project like this or have an area like this in their town and could share a picture of what they have.
Like most small towns, we don't have funds to hire a professional designer so looking for ideas that we could use.
We could develop in stages or maybe try to get each club in town to finance a part.

Municipal grade park benches cost a couple grand each. New uniforms when a cop packs on a few pounds are $600 each. If you guys value a professional design I'm sure you can pull out the couch cushions and find the means to pay one. I'm sick to death of all these groups expecting something for nothing because it's for the good of their town and maybe will pay off with "exposure" for the designer. Professional services cost. That's what makes them - wait for it - professional.
