| Hello,
I have a few large pots, clay pots with clusters of Tropicanna Canna. The flowering time is over. What should I do for the fall/winter period.Should I cut them at the ground level and leave the rhizomes in the pot so they will sprout back in the Spring? Or should I pull them out,cut the stocks and keep the rhizomes in bags in a cold place so I can replant them in Spring?I appreciate answers for these questions.Thank you.Jim |

Hello jmmedeiros, I'm no professional but, In your zone they should do fine in ground. I only cut back the flower stalks and wait for frost to kill foilage. Then cut dead leaves, mulch and good until spring. Good Luck Pattie |
