K Phite Fungicide

I am looking for a very small amount of K Phite. I found a source to buy it from but it is $87 for 2 1/2 gallons which is more than I wanted to spend for this. I have one daylily that I purchased that I am worried about getting rot. I bought Scandinavia about a month ago and paid a pretty penny for it only to lose it to rot. The seller finally agreed to send a replacement and I am worried that it may be getting rot as well. All of my other daylilies are fine but I need to treat it before I lose it too. I have heard that K Phite does great in stopping rot in it's tracks. Would anyone be willing to sell me a small amount? I would really appreciate it!

"Rot" is not very descriptive :-) Daylilies can get a number of different types of root rots and they may respond to any number of fungicides, depending on the organism.

FWIW, Aliette is a phosphonate based systemic fungicide similar to K Phite that is pretty widely available and in affordable small quantities. You can purchase it online.

When I googled K-Phite this post came up. For anyone who is interested, I found a quart size available from www.directgardenseeds.com/p/231/k-phite-7lp.

Hi Dot,

Thank you so much for the info! It is good to know that there is a source to get it from. How are your daylilies doing?
