Watering systems for garden center

Hello! We are trying to find a watering system that will work in a retail garden center. Our perennials and annuals are displayed on metal benches in a retractable roof greenhouse. The total perennial and annual display area is around 18,000 square feet, with about 1/2 of that being plants on benches, and the other half being concrete aisles. We made our own flood benches about 4 years ago, but we are not happy with them now (irregular watering, plants that need it dry invariably sitting in a low spot where they are constantly sitting in water, etc). We have tried a sample of a sprinkler system set up on top of the sign board backs that we have attached to the benches, but the plants do not get watered real evenly, and it takes over 20 minutes to water one bench well, and fertilizer water gets all over the sidewalk as well. We have also considered going with watering booms in the greenhouse, but again we have the problem of fertilizer water getting all over the sidewalks and on pottery and other hardgoods displayed with the plants. Of course, there is always the "tried and true" handwatering, but it is very time consuming and not exactly ideal to have a hose strung out while customers are shopping. We would be interested in any systems that you have or have seen at other garden centers. Thanks for your help!
