propagating a rabbits foot cutting

I have a furry foot cutting from a rabbits foot plant. I've rooted it in water and it has a good set of secondary roots.

I've heard it can be difficult to propagate cuttings.

I'm ready to try but want the attempt to be successful if possible, can anyone tell me... do I plant the furry foot with the roots just in the soil and the rest sitting on the surface?

Or do I just plant the whole furry foot in the soil leaving the furn out?

Also I have All treat - ready to use potting soil, is that ok?

Any insight would be appreciated!

thanks!

Pam
