I had a good giggle today over a mistake I make with Diamond Ice, one of my favorite plants. I cut it back severely and stuck some cuttings hoping to make more plants. I have a lot of different cuttings going for the first time and have not had a lot of luck. Well, this plant really took me by surprise.
I opened the shoe box I was using as a cheap propagation chamber, and there were the cuttings. Some of them looked extremely odd, with spidery growths coming from the "tops", some as much as an inch long.
Then I "got it". I had stuck them upside down and was looking at some amazing root growth in just about a week! What a goose I am!!!!!!!!
