Where to get True Spearmint?

I read an article which said that most seeds are not true spearmint and have a bitter taste afterward and that true spearmint does not have any such aftertaste. So reading further down, it says the way to ensure true spearmint is to buy cuttings. The only problem is I cannot find a place to buy them (I'm looking online at the moment). Can anyone enlighten me? I am new to gardening.

The method I use is to purchase plants with the desired flavor, aftertaist etc. Then propagate using cuttings.....
