Here is a very easy procedure which actually works.
Take cuttings that have 3-5 buds on them. Pull off all of the leaves accept one or 2 at the top. Cut them in half. Don't use the tips. Get some 6-8" containers fill them with a good moist potting soil. Take about 10-15 of these cuttings dip them in some rooting compound and stick all 10-15 cuttings in one of your containers. Put the containers in a 1 gal zip lock bag with the opening at the top. Zip it and put it in a shady spot. Check it every week or so to see if it still has droplets of water on the inside. If not add a little water. Basically ignore it for 4-6 weeks at that time you should have some baby grape vines.
I have told my customers this method and they come back with success stories.

thanks, I'll have a try. I'll get a LOT of plants....It is really a space saving method. I have to get some bigger zip loc bags.
(and do not write with texta on zip lock bags it simply disappears..)

I would love to have some grapevine cuttings.I don't have any thing to trade right now.
