| this spring I plan on planting white clover and red clover. I have been reading up on using an inoculant, but I don't get it. how do you fling wet seeds out of a seed spreader? I'm missing something. anybody ever actually do this? thanks. |

| The seeds don't have to be wetted. You can purchase pre-inoculated seeds, or inoculants mixed with amendments (like peat) to act a carriers, or even with an adhesive which will help it stick to the seed. Just do some shopping around. |

If you have any native legumes you probably wont need that. We have white clover growing ferally as well as burr clover. I threw wild hairy vetch seed in my citrus beds and there were no inoculants in the top 10 inches and they grew fine. |
