Vigna Caracalla - Corkscrew Vine

I was wondering if anyone knew if you could propagate this vine by separating it's tubers. I moved mine a short while back and noticed it was loaded with tubers. If it can, would it be wise to divide now while it is dormant or wait till it shows new growth?

I've searched the internet and could only find information on storing the main tuber.

I'm not familiar with this plant, but if the tuber is like a dalhia, you can most likely cut off the new tuber with a piece of the stem and start a new plant.

It does look very similiar. I've never grown dahlias but I think you've got me pointed in the right direction.

Thank you so much!
