| Hi,
I'd like to save some seed from Cos lettuce plants that have bolted. I'm a bit unsure about how to know when the seeds are ready to be harvested. At the moment there are a lot of small yellow flowers. Should I pick the flowers, or must I wait for them to fall off and get the seed from a pod that remains? Thanks

| The pettles must fall off then a "capsule" will form It should turn brown (weeks after pettal fall). the "capsule" will start to break open THEN collect the seed |
