Howdy all,

I am an avid native plant gardener, but have not yet tried propagation. My wife and I just bought 8 acres, and I want to move our red-osier dogwoods, blackhaw viburnum, highbush cranberry, and new jersey tea. But the ground is frozen. No digging.

I've done a little reading on the subject, but could someone guide me through propagating these species from hardwood cuttings? Are hormones necessary? If so, which ones and where would I find them this time of year?
