rooting quince cuttings

| I am getting some quince cuttings and have read that dormant cuttings with rooting hormone will work for them. doesn anybody have any experience or thoughts on this? thanks |

| HAD SOME SUCCESS WITH DORMANT CUTTINGS but HAVE HAD EXCELLENT RESULTS USING CUTTINGS OF FIRM NEW GROWTH... |

| My dormant ones rotted last year. I had them outside with other cuttings. The others were more successful. I would do as mentioned and use new growth in the spring. |
