I was wondering if anyone knows if it is safe to graft onto a wild almond tree. I have some almond tree's nearby probably planted by squirrels. I tried eating an almond that was left on one of the treeÂs this winter and it was very bitter. I have read that some wild almonds are poisonous. Does anyone know if it would it be safe to bring home one of these wild almond treeÂs and graft it over to a good variety almond for eating?
